Odisha's first COVID case detected in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar (By Abhishek Mohanty): Odisha reported its first case of COVID-19 in Bhubaneswar.

The infected person had recently returned from Delhi and is currently in quarantine and receiving necessary medical care. The person is suffering from various diseases.

The State Health Department has advised the citizens to adhere to safety guidelines like maintaining social distancing, wearing masks and hand sanitising.

The number of COVID cases has recently increased in Singapore, Hong Kong, East Asia and other countries.
