OPEN LEARNING SYSTEMS IS THE BEST, SAYS TWIN CITY POLICE COMMISSIONER
Bhubaneswar(29/09/2023): The Bhubaneswar-Cuttack (Twin City) Police Commissioner Saumendra Priyadarshi distributed school kits today to the students with intellectual and developmental disabilities of Open Learning Systems, a pioneering voluntary organisation in the disability sector, and praised the organisation as the best in providing rights based and rehabilitative services for the children with developmental disabilities.
On the occasion of an interactive session with the parents and guardians of the children with disabilities organised under the "NAVDARSHAN" project of Odisha Rising Foundation with the financial support of V Guard Industries, Sumant Pradhan, Odisha Head of V Guard gave an insight into the future plans of targetting the rural communities where the need for the services maybe more.
Prakash Rath, CEO, OLS appreciated the support of a Special Educator, a Physiotherapist and a Vocational Trainer under the project that has gone a long way in reaching out to more beneficiaries.
The guests were treated to a dazzling display of skills in Floorball by the special athletes of Special Olympics Bharat-Odisha.
