Over 700 artists to participate in Lingaraj Mahotsav

Bhubaneswar(03/04/2025): The 14th Lingaraj Mahotsav will be held by Ekamra Sanskrutika Prakashani in Bhubaneswar from April 5, 2025, to April 10, 2025, to promote Odisha's art and culture and to commemorate the Rukuna Ratha Yatra of Lord Lingaraj.

More than 700 artists will participate in the festival. The cultural program will feature performances by renowned artists, including Guru Gajendra Panda, Guru Pratibha Panda, eminent artists from Kala Bikash Kendra and Binapani Kala Niketan.

Other attractions include Bharatanatyam from Visakhapatnam, Odissi and Fusion from Hyderabad, Kathak from Kolkata, Raipur's Nryutya Sridhara, Ghoda Nacha from Choudwar, Folk dance from Athagarh and 36 groups of artists from Odisha.

This was informed by Ekamra Sanskrutika Prakashani President of Suresh Routray and Secretary Sanat Mishra. The press conference was attended by senior advocate Sibananda Ray, Joint Secretary Pradyumna Mohanty, Spokesperson Lingaraj Sahoo, Treasurer Ratikanta Mahasuara, Kedarnath Mohapatra, Baban Chandra Mohapatra, Sribatsa Pati, Lalatendu Mohanty, Pramod Kumar Das, Biswanath Mohapatra, Ganesh Pal and Debashish Das.
