PHIRINGIA POLICE STATION IN KANDHAMAL SET ON FIRE

Phulbani(05/08/2023): Hundreds of irate locals set Phiringia police station in Kandhamal district on fire on Saturday over alleged involvement of the Inspector In Charge and two subordinate staff in illegal trading of ganja. The agitators demand strong action against Inspector In Charge Tapan Kumar Nahaka and home guards Prashant Patra and Rabi Digal.

The agitators staged a road blockade at Phiringia Block Office Chhak earlier in the day over the issue.
