PM Modi pays tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at Statue of Unity
New Delhi (31/10/2024): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday paid floral tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on his birth anniversary, at the Statue of Unity in Kevadia, Gujarat. On Rashtriya Ekta Diwas or National Unity Day, the Prime Minister said, "The last ten years have been full of unprecedented achievements for the unity and integrity of India.

By promoting India's languages, we strengthen the bonds of unity." The Unity Day parade in Kevadia featured 16 marching contingents.
The major highlights included the impressive Hell March by National Security Guard, a thrilling stunt show by the Border Security Force (BSF) and CRPF bikers, martial arts displays by the BSF, a piped band performance by school children, and aerial display titled "Surya Kiran" by the Indian Air Force.
