POLICE STATION VANDALISM IN BARGARH: CASE REGISTERED ON BASIS OF CCTV FOOTAGE
Bargarh(06/11/2023): A group of 25 to 30 youths reportedly vandalised the Ambaphona police station in Bargarh district on Sunday.
The incident happened hours after police carried out raids on a picnic party. On receiving a complaint about drug abuse in the picnic party, a police team raided the party, but could not get anything related to establish the allegations.
Following this, a heated argument ensued between some youths and police personnel.
Later, the youths allegedly stormed into the police station and broke furniture, window panes.
They managed to flee the spot after the incident. The police has registered a case on the basis of CCTV footage and prepared the list of accused to arrest them.
