'PROTECTION OF ENVIRONMENT IS MOST IMPORTANT FOR EVERYONE’S LIFE'
Bhubaneswar(05/06/2024): On the occasion of World Environment Day -2024, the ActionAid Association in collaboration with Center for Child & Women Development (CCWD) Bhubaneswar organised group discussion on values of earth, environment and soil as well as sapling of plant to aware the slum dwellers at Nilamadhaba Slum Under Ward No-13 of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation.
For the wellbeing of future generation, the protection of environment is most important for every one’s life said the dignitaries.
They also focused on E-waste, and plastic uses also hamper the environment.
The objective of the programme was to aware the slum dwellers for the safety measures, said Saraswati Parida.
Among others Snigdha Das, Shiba Sahoo & Bhaskar Chandra Pradhan spoke on this occasion.

In this programme the members of Bhubaneswar Young Urban Women Forum actively participated and shared their thoughts relating to climate change and climate justice .
