Public Grievance Camp Conducted by Balasore Collector and SP at Bahanaga

Balasore, 27/05 (Krushna Kumar Mohanty): A joint public grievance camp was held this morning at 7:00 AM in the Bahanaga Panchayat Samiti Conference Hall under the leadership of Balasore Collector Suryabanshi Mayur Vikas and Superintendent of Police Raj Prasad.

The camp witnessed the presence of key officials including Additional District Magistrate (Revenue) Hemanta Singh, Additional District Panchayat Officer Dr. Madhusmita Samantaray, Sub-Collector of Balasore Prathamesh Aravind Rajesirke, Chief District Medical Officer Dr. Sushanta Kumar Nayak, Group Development Officer Bikram Keshari Parida, along with various administrative and police officials from both district and block levels.

A total of 132 complainants from various gram panchayats under Bahanaga block registered their grievances. Among the 132 complaints, 120 were individual grievances, primarily concerning old-age pensions, PMAY housing schemes, ration cards, health services, electricity, roads, drinking water, drainage, disability pensions, and legal issues. Eleven complaints were community grievances related to infrastructure such as roads, electricity, law and order, health services, anganwadi centers, and drainage issues. Additionally, one appeal was submitted seeking assistance from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

Out of the total complaints received, 17 were resolved on the spot.

The camp saw active participation from various departmental officials (administration and police), media representatives, and general public (complainants) from different gram panchayats.
