Radio Fair begins in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar (By Abhishek Mohanty): The 12th International Radio Fair commenced at Ekamra Haat in Bhubaneswar on Thursday.

Distinct Radio stations and broadcasters participated in this mega event which will conclude on February 15. 

Outreach is organising this event every year to commemorate World Radio Day.


Apart from this, many Community radio stations participated in the fair.
 

Various cultural programmes were presented at the radio fair.

The inaugural ceremony witnessed the presence of
Poonam Guha Tapas Kumar (Commissioner cum Secretary Of Handloom & Handicraft Government of Odisha), Dr AK Purohit (Directer BIS Bhubaneswar),
N A Shah Ansari (Founder Radio Namaskar), 
Ashok Panigrahi (Senior Broadcaster) and
Subrat Kumar Pati (Head Outreach).

The fair includes workshops on emergency broadcasting and live, interactive sessions for radio enthusiasts, display of antique radios, ham radios, and gramophones, plus participation from various radio channels.

The objective is to celebrate the history, cultural impact, and future of radio, especially for World Radio Day.
