Railways to run special trains for Rath Yatra
Puri(By Abhishek Mohanty): The East Coast Railway has decided to run 365 special trains during the annual Rath Yatra festival in Puri.
These trains will connect major regions across Odisha and also link Puri with Visakhapatnam and Palasa in Andhra Pradesh, Jagdalpur and Gondia in Chhattisgarh, and Santragachi (Kolkata) in West Bengal.

The special services will run from different parts of the state including Rourkela, Bangiriposi, Biramitrapur, Boudh, Junagarh Road, Badampahar, Balasore, Jagdalpur, Angul, Gunupur, Rayagada, Paradeep, Bhadrak, Keonjhar, Daspalla, Khordha Road, Sambalpur, Cuttack, Berhampur, Dhenkanal and Barbil.
The Railways aim to provide hassle-free travel to the devotees during the world famous festival.
