Road accidents claim one life, leave six injured
Bhubaneswar (03/11/2024): Two separate road accidents in Odisha have resulted in the tragic loss of one woman's life and left six others injured. An autorickshaw carrying seven passengers, including Habisyalis, was struck by a speeding truck on NH-16 near Tangi Chandeswar.
The incident occurred when the autorickshaw was en route to Puri. One woman lost her life in the accident.
The autorickshaw driver, critically injured, has been rushed to Bhubaneswar for medical attention.
Two other injured passengers were admitted to Tangi hospital. In another incident, a car lost control and crashed into a tree near Ghodadian under Puruna Katak tehsil in Boudh district. Four people sustained critical injuries in the mishap.
They have been shifted to Boudh district headquarters hospital for treatment.
