Security tightened at Paradip Port after vessel with 21 Pakistani crew anchors

Paradip (By Abhishek Mohanty): Security was tightened at the Paradip Port on Wednesday after a merchant vessel with Pakistani crew members anchored at the Single Point Mooring terminal of the Port.
No crew member was allowed to disembark until the unloading of the crude oil.
The ship identified as MT Siren II and flying the Hong Kong flag arrived at the Port carrying crude oil meant for Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL). The vessel had travelled from South Korea via Singapore to Paradip Port.
Out of the total 25 members on board, 21 are reportedly Pakistanis.
Following this, the Immigration Department altered the Marine Police, Central Industrial Security Force, Customs Department, and Port authorities following verification of the crew details.
A multi-agency security arrangement has been activated.
