Shree Jagannath Sahasranama and prayer program held in Suanga village
Bhubaneswar(By Abhishek Mohanty): A Shree Jagannath Sahasranama, Gita Gobinda, and prayer recitation program was successfully organised with the collective support of Shree Jagannath culture promoter Dr. Narayan Mohapatra, Suresh Chandra Mishra, Trilochan Nayak, Bhagaban Das, Jaya Jagannath Paribar Trust Secretary, Bharati Bhushan Pattnaik, Bijay Kumar Panda, Chaitanya Nayak, and Srinivasa Rao.
The objective of organising this program was to offer prayers to God both before undertaking any work and after any unfortunate incidents, seeking divine guidance to show us the right path. Once again, the Shree Jagannath Sanskruti Prachar Sansthan appealed to everyone that for the welfare of society, such remembrance of the Lord should be practiced, and that during both difficult times and good times, efforts should be made to surrender and submit everything to God.
Just as in earlier days, we used to wash our feet and offer prayers to God in the morning and evening, sharing all our thoughts and concerns with Him, said Dr.Narayan Mohapatra.
The program was held on the occasion of the annual shraddha (death anniversary rites) of the father of friends of the Sansthan, Hemant Kumar Mohanty of Suanga village, Bhubaneswar.
