SUNSTOKE DEATH TOLL IN ODISHA RISES TO 2

Bhubaneswar (29/04/2024): At least two persons have lost their lives due to sunstroke so far in Odisha.
As per the information shared by the State Health Department, one sunstroke death has been reported from Dhenkanal district.
Earlier, the first sunstoke death was reported in Balasore district. As many as 257 persons were hospitalised due to sunstoke or heat-related illness in different parts of the state.
The highest 60 health-related cases have been reported from the Sundargarh district, followed by 40 in Mayurbhanj and 36 cases reported from Khordha district, 18 persons are undergoing treatment at Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar.
