Tight security in place for Mahashivratri celebration at Lingaraj Temple; 41 platoons deployed

Bhubaneswar(By Abhishek Mohanty): Elaborate security and traffic arrangements have been made for smooth celebration of Mahashivratri at Lord Lingaraj Temple in Bhubaneswar.

The administration has accorded top priority to the safety of devotees and smooth traffic management during the festival. 

Strict traffic regulations have been enforced to ensure orderly movement across the city.

To streamline vehicular flow, authorities have identified 12 designated parking spaces for visitors.

As part of enhanced security measures, 41 platoons of police force will be deployed in and around the temple premises to maintain law and order throughout the celebrations.

As per decision, the Mahadeep (sacred lamp) will be placed atop the temple at 10 PM.

Tight security arrangements have also been put in place at Chintamaniswar, Bhaskareswar, Megheswar, and Bramheswar temples.
