XIM University awarded Scholarship to 108 meritorious students from 12 undergraduate programs
Bhubaneswar(25/02/2025): The XIM University successfully hosted its 5th Undergraduate Scholarship Awarding Ceremony for the students on February 25, 2025.
The university’s undergraduate degree program offers a globally aligned curriculum, featuring a wide variety of courses that provide a strong foundation for students to pursue their career goals.
In line with its commitment to academic excellence, XIM University has established a Scholarship Programme designed to support outstanding students with their studies.
This year, the university awarded scholarships to 108 students from 12 undergraduate programs.
The total value of the scholarships is Rs 1.30 crore. The Chief Guest for the occasion Yeshwant Kumar Jethwa, Director of Vigilance, Odisha applauded the University for the event, congratulating meritorious students and encouraging them to rise above their circumstances.
He emphasized the importance of goal setting, focus, overcoming fear of failure, and surrounding oneself with like-minded people.
He also stressed the significance of good character, integrity, empathy, and kindness in achieving success. As the institution celebrated this milestone, Vice Chancellor Father Antony R.Uvari was delighted to acknowledge that they had been consistently recognizing and rewarding students' achievements for the past five years.
This initiative aimed to encourage students from all backgrounds, including meritorious, SC, ST, and EWS students, to strive for excellence.
The Vice Chancellor urged the students to continue setting targets, preparing a roadmap, and working tirelessly towards their goals. Father S.Antony Raj, S.J., Registrar of XIM University Bhubaneswar; Father V.Arokiyadass, S.J., Chief Finance Officer of XIM University Bhubaneswar and Chairperson of the UG Scholarship Committee; as well as the Academic Deans, faculty, and staff members of the university were present. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Father S.Antony Raj, S.J., who expressed gratitude for the collective efforts and dedication of the university in fostering a supportive learning environment and ensuring equitable educational opportunities.
