XIM University Training Programme for Middle-Level Engineers of Odisha's DoWR
Bhubaneswar (26/10/2024): The XIM University, Bhubaneswar, successfully concluded a 4-day training program on "Optimising Leadership Potential" for the Department of Water Resources (DoWR), Government of Odisha.
Held from October 21 to 24, 2024, the program focused on building the leadership capabilities of middle-level engineers within the Command Area Development (CAD) Division.
The program commenced with a prestigious inauguration ceremony graced by the esteemed administrator of XIM University, Fr.George Fernandes, S.J.and Rashmi Ranjan Nayak, Additional Secretary to Government & Director, CAD-PIM.
The program was jointly coordinated by Dr.Kalpana Sahoo & Dr.Subhra Pattnaik.
The sessions were facilitated by Dr.Kalpana Sahoo, Dr.Mousumi Padhi, Dr.Amar KJR Nayak, and Dr.Subhra Pattnaik.
The program aimed to create synergy among participants by aligning them with the core values of the DoWR.
It delved into fostering a sense of ownership, accountability, and leadership development within the middle-level engineering cadre.
The program included a blend of interactive sessions, knowledge sharing, and practical learning.
A dedicated day was reserved for a field visit to Pani Panchayat in Ranapur, Nayagarh, where participants observed automation processes firsthand.
This unique experience facilitated a deeper understanding of real-world applications. The program provided a valuable platform for participants to exchange ideas and gain insights from their peers, enriching their learning experience.
