Youth found dead under mysterious circumstances at Cuttack de-addiction centre

Cuttack(By Abhishek Mohanty): A youth was found dead under mysterious circumstances at a de-addiction centre in Uttamapur under Sadar police limits in Cuttack district on Tuesday. 

According to reports, the deceased, a resident of the Khordha region, had been undergoing treatment at the centre for the past two months.

Initial allegations suggest that the youth may have been strangled to death. Sources said that a towel was found wrapped around his neck, though the exact cause of death is yet to be confirmed.

Following the discovery, police reached the spot and  started questioning other inmates and staff members of the facility.

Four persons were detained for interrogation in connection with the incident.
