YOUTH STABBED TO DEATH IN MARRIAGE PROCESSION

Mohana(13/03/2024): A youth was allegedly stabbed to death at Mohana in Gajapati district late on Tuesday night. The deceased has been identified as Prashant Pradhan.

The accused, Srihari Pradhan, attacked Prashant with a sharp weapon during a marriage procession. Following Prashant's death, irate locals torches the house of the accused and demand police to handover the arrested accused to them. Protesting the incident, the locals blocked NH 326.
