Youth who attempted self-immolation dies at AIIMS Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar(By Abhishek Mohanty): A youth who had attempted suicide yesterday at Balipatna area on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar by pouring petrol on himself died on Saturday morning.

He breathed his last at 4 AM while undergoing treatment at AIIMS Bhubaneswar.

The deceased youth's father is a retired police officer.
The retired officer had married twice.
His first wife had passed away, and the deceased youth was her son.
There had been an ongoing dispute because the father had transferred his property in the name of the son from his second wife.

According to reports, the deceased youth’s father and his stepmother’s son are currently in police custody in connection with the incident
