“Yuva Vikas Foundation Celebrates World Women’s Day”
Baleswar, 8th March 2026: Yuva Vikas Foundation, CINI India and SMFG Gram Shakti jointly organized a special program on the occasion of World Women’s Day at the assembly hall of Balasore Bhadrak District Cooperative Bank near F.M. Golei. On this occasion, the contribution and success of women in various fields were acknowledged and the theme “Source of Power – Women Empowerment” was discussed.
Around 130 women from Balasore, Bhadrak and Mayurbhanj regions, who were undergoing financial literacy programs and women undergoing training in agriculture, participated in the event. Motivational speeches were given by the women on their own experiences, success stories and progress. Yuva Vikas member Deepika Maheshwari presided over the event and addressed the women, "Women are the main strength of the society. Through this initiative, we want to encourage their progress and self-reliance." CINI India and SMFG have taken the initiative to provide various skill development programs and financial support to women to make them self-reliant.
This initiative will open a new dimension for the betterment of women's lives. The chief guest of the event was Keshu Das, keynote speaker Kavi Prashant Das, 'Kanak' News Correspondent Sumana Parida, 'Dhwani Prathi Dhwani' Editor Sairendri Sahu, 'Sabuj Maiyar' Sasmita Patra, Chairman of Bana Dhulira Phula Organization Bijay Kumar Acharya, Secretary of New Life Prashant Maharana, women entrepreneurs Revati Bindhani and founder of Dhwani Pratidhwani Srushtidhar Parida, who inspired women about their own strength and freedom. They were felicitated by Yuva Vikas.
The event commemorated the struggles, successes and invaluable contributions of women at the national level and conveyed the message of becoming self-reliant and self-reliant.
