13th anniversary of the daily newspaper Nirbhaya
Bhubaneswar, 20/9 – On the occasion of the 13th anniversary of the daily newspaper Nirbhaya, a celebration was held at the Orchid Hall of Hotel Mayfair Lagoon. The Hon’ble Chief Minister of the State, Shri Mohan Charan Majhi, attended the event as the Chief Guest and felicitated Shri Birendra Kumar Samantaray with the Odisha Gaurav Award, presented by Nirbhaya.
On this occasion, Shri Samantaray also released the Utkal Pradeep Grantha, a seven-volume biographical encyclopedia based on the Odia alphabet ‘A’ to ‘Ksha’. The event was conducted by Nirbhaya’s editor Naveen Das and associate editor-journalist Sambit Mahapatra.
