22% of 2.67 lakh rejected applicants under Subhadra Yojana to receive third phase money tomorrow

Bhubaneswar (23/11/2024): At least 22% of the total 2.67 lakh rejected applicants will get their financial assistance under the Subhadra Yojana on November 24. Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida said, "The rejected applicants will get Rs 5000 in the third phase of the first installment of Subhadra Yojana.
Following a thorough verification process, 22% of applicants will receive the aid tomorrow, benefiting a total of 58,740 women. Parida informed that the state government has ensured a meticulous verification process.
The process has been transparent and our focus is to reach those who truly qualify under the scheme. The verification of 267,000 beneficiaries has been concluded, allowing for disbursement to commence.
The remaining applicants were disqualified due to their non-compliance with property and land eligibility criteria.
The reports from the verifications have been sent to the block level, where further scrutiny will be conducted. A significant number of applicants have been found ineligible under the land ownership criteria set forth by the scheme.
These applications have been forwarded to the block level for further scrutiny and potential re-evaluation, she added .
