PROTESTS INTENSIFY IN ODISHA FOLLOWING DECLARATION OF NEW NACS

Bhubaneswar (27/02/2024): Protests intensified in different places of Odisha following declaration of new Notified Area Councils (NACs).

Bandh has been called at Bangomunda town in Balangir district, Subalaya town in Sonepur district and M Rampur town in Kalahandi districts demanding NAC status for the towns. Meanwhile, the residents of Binka town in Sonepur district have also called a bandh seeking sub-division status for the town. Owing to the strikes, business establishments have been affected and vehicles stayed off the the roads.
