BIJU BABU REMEMBERED ON BIRTH ANNIVERSARY

Bhubaneswar(05/03/2024): Odisha remembered freedom fighter and former Chief Minister of the State Biju Patnaik on his 108th birth anniversary on Tuesday. People from all walks of life paid tributes to the legendary leader. His son and Chief Minister of Odisha Naveen Patnaik paid floral tributes at the statue of the great leader at the Biju Patnaik Forest Park in Bhubaneswar. The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) members also paid floral tributes on Biju Babu's statue at Airport Chhak in the city. Photo exhibitions on the life of legendary Statesman Biju Patnaik have been organised at Jaydev Bhawan in Bhubaneswar and Anand Bhawan, the birthplace of Biju Babu in Cuttack. The birth anniversary of Biju Babu was celebrated by Sports and Youth Services department.

Minister Tusharkanti Behera paid rich tributes joined as chief guest and flagged off a run at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar. Cycle rallies and processions have also been organised at different parts of the state.
