CM Mohan Majhi visits Puri, participates in Snana Yatra rituals

Puri (By Abhishek Mohanty): Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi visited Puri on the occasion of Snana Purnima.

The Chief Minister accompanied by senior officials visited Srimandir and had darshan of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra.

The CM participated in the 'Mangala Alati' and 'Pahandi Bije' rituals.

Expressing satisfaction over the smooth conduct of all the rituals for the divine bathing ceremony of the deities, CM Majhi said, "All arrangements have been done in a very systematic manner with the blessings of the Holy Trinity."

He also reviewed the ongoing construction work of the three chariots.

Lakhs of devotees gathered at Puri to witness the Snana Yatra of the deities.

Security has been tightened with deployment of 70 platoons of police force and Artificial Intelligence cameras.
