Coastal security exercise ‘Sagar Kavach-2’ begins along Odisha and West Bengal coasts

The two-day coastal security exercise ‘Sagar Kavach-2’ commenced on Wednesday along the coasts of Odisha and West Bengal. 

Aimed at preventing terrorist infiltration through sea routes, the exercise brings together 18 central and state agencies. 

Participants include officials from the Navy, Customs, CISF, Marine Police, Paradip Port, and the Fisheries and Forest Departments.

The officials demonstrated their preparedness on how to thrawt any terrorist infiltration.
