Cyclone 'Montha': Two-day school holiday in Khordha

Bhubaneswar(By Abhishek Mohanty): Due to the cyclone 'Montha', the Odisha government on Monday declared a two-day holiday for schools in Khordha district.
Along with schools, Anganwadi centres will also remain closed on October 28 and 29.
The district administration has issued an official notification regarding the two-day holiday.

The School and Mass Education Department has already announced holidays in 8 districts of southern Odisha.
All schools in these districts will remain closed from October 28 until the 30.

The districts are
Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, and Nabarangpur.

All leave for employees of the School and Mass Education Department has been cancelled.
