Daily rituals of Lord Lingaraj resume

Bhubaneswar(By Abhishek Mohanty): The daily rituals of Lord Lingaraj resumed at the Lingaraj Temple on Thursday. 

After the Mangala Alati, devotees were allowed Dhadi Darshan through a queue system.

This was informed by Biranchi Narayan Pati, Secretary of the Brahmin Nijog.

Earlier, the rituals had been suspended at Lord Lingaraj Temple in Bhubaneswar due to a dispute between the Badu Nijog and the Brahmin Nijog over the Kheera Outa ritual. 

Owing to the dispute, Lord Lingaraj was not offered food, symbolically placing the deity in fasting.

With the issue resolved, regular worship has now resumed.
