DEEPLY CONCERNED BY ATTACK ON TRUMP: PM MODI
New Delhi (14/07/2024): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said that he was deeply concerned by the attack on his friend and former US President Donald Trump. In a post on social media platform X, the Prime Minister said that violence has no place in politics and wished him a speedy recovery. Trump was shot at a rally in Pennsylvania when a shooter fired several bullets targeting him in an assassination attempt.
Trump was injured in the shooting.
One spectator died and two sustained injuries in the incident.
