11 MEMBERS TO GO INSIDE RATNA BHANDAR TODAY
Puri(14/07/2024): The Ratha Bhandar of Puri Srimandir will open after 1:30 PM today. A total of 11 members including two from the inspection committee will go inside Ratna Bhandar.
The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) Administrator Arabinda Padhee has sought the key from treasury. The Ratna Bhandar will be opened after a gap of 46 years.
The last time it was opened was in 1978.
According to tradition, the Ratna Bhandar (treasure trove) will be opened at an auspicious moment, and the inventory of the jewels, their weight, and value will be determined.
