MASON FALLS INTO OPEN DRAIN IN CUTTACK, DIES
Cuttack (04/04/2024): A mason died after falling into an open drain at Mahima Nagar under CRRI police limits in Cuttack district. The deceased has been identified as a resident of Jajpur district. He was working as a mason in Cuttack. According to information, the victim fell into the narrow drain which was left open for the ongoing construction work in the locality.
He was returning to his residence after finishing his work on Thursday night when the mishap occurred.
His body was recovered from the drain with one foot width this morning. Locals alleged that similar incidents are happening frequently due to the negligence on the part of the administration.
