Double encounter in Cuttack
Cuttack (17/04/2025): A double encounter occurred at Choudwar Indranipattana area in Cuttack district, where two notorious criminals were injured. The criminals identified as Katas and Jubula sustained leg injuries during the exchange of gunfire and were admitted to SCB Trauma Care for treatment.
They were accused of multiple crimes, including dacoity and loot. A double encounter occurred in Cuttack's Choudwar Indranipatana area, where two notorious criminals, Katas Rout and Subhrajit Parida, were involved in a police encounter.

Subhrajit is involved in more than 50 criminal cases. The Odisha Police seem to be taking a strong stance against notorious criminals, conducting a series of encounters.
