Farmer ends life after seeing paddy crop damaged
Kendrapara(26/12/2024): A farmer allegedly took his own life after seeing his paddy crop damaged due to incessant rain. The incident occurred in Santhapura village under Derabish block in Kendrapara district. According to family members, the farmer was under stress after seeing his paddy crop damaged.
He had invested over lakhs of rupees in cultivating paddy on his 7-acre land.
After returning home, he suffered a heart attack, which led to his death. The family has alleged that the farmer's death was due to the stress caused by the damage to his crop.
