Five-day training programme for students of Government Vocational HSS begins

A five-day residential Hands-on Skill Development Training program in Electronic & Hardware and IT-ITeS trades has been inaugurated on Monday at the World Skill Center (WSC) and CTTC for students of Government Vocational Higher Secondary Schools.
Attending the inaugural ceremony, Binita Senapati, Joint Director, Directorate of Higher Secondary Education, encouraged the students to acquire practical skills and highlighted the importance of vocational education. In this context, Jitendra Nayak, Deputy Director , DHSE explained the objective of the training. From WSC, Chairman T. Thambiraja was present at the event.
Similarly, at the inauguration ceremony held at CTTC Bhubaneswar, Snigdha Mishra, Joint Director, DHSE, L. Rajashekhar, MD, CTTC; Satya Narayan Mishra; and Smitarekha Mohanty, Research Assistant, DHSE were among the dignitaries present.
Around 50 students and teachers are participating in the residential training at WSC, while around 90 students and teachers are taking part at CTTC. Through this program, the participants will gain both theoretical knowledge and practical experience in their respective subjects.
