Girl found dead at OYO hotel in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar (By Abhishek Mohanty): A girl was found dead under mysterious circumstances at an OYO hotel in Jagamara area of Bhubaneswar on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as Sonali Mahapatra from Nayagarh district.

She allegedly fell from the second floor of the hotel, and her body was recovered by the Khandagiri police. The exact cause of death is yet to be ascertained, and police are looking into the circumstances leading to the alleged fall.

Sonali, who worked at a bank, was in the hotel room with boy friend at the time of the incident. The couple was scheduled to get married next month. 

The male friend of the deceased has been detained for questioning.
