Man ends life after poisioning minor son, daughter to death
Gajapati (By Abhishek Mohanty): A man allegedly poisoned his minor son and daughter to death at Parlakhemundi in Gajapati district.
The accused father identified as Subhasis Panigrahi also consumed poison after committing the crime.
Subhasis, his son Bijayananda Panigrahi (8) and daughter Priyadarshini Panigrahi (11) were found in critical condition in their house and were rushed to the Parlakhemundi district hospital. Bijayananda passed away while undergoing treatment. Later, the condition of his father and daughter also deteriorated.
The duo was shifted to the MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur. Unfortunately, the two died during treatment.
