HIRAKUD DAM OPENS MORE SLUICE GATES
Sambalpur (15/09/2023): The authorities of Hirakud Dam have opened more gates to release excess water from the reservoir. The water level of the dam stood at 628.15 ft by 6 am today.
Excess water is being discharged through 14 sluice gates. Hirakud recorded an inflow of around 2,29,458 cusecs while outflow is 2,67,577 cusecs.
