Indian Navy gears up to celebrate Navy Day in Puri
Bhubaneswar(01/12/2024): The Indian Navy is gearing up to celebrate Navy Day on December 4 at Puri's Blue Flag Beach in Odisha.
The event will showcase the Navy's maritime prowess with a grand display involving at least 24 warships and 40 aircraft, including helicopters and fighter jets. As part of the celebrations, a full dress rehearsal was conducted, which includes a spectacular operational demonstration off the coast of Puri.
The demonstration featureed coordinated ship maneuvers, mock rescues, and dynamic displays by naval helicopters, fighter jets, and patrol aircraft. President Droupadi Murmu will attend the event as the chief guest, and the Indian Navy is collaborating with the Odisha government to ensure the event runs smoothly.
