Infinite Possibilities of Creation Reside Within the Creator: ‘Anurag’ Literary Discourse Organized by Prajapati Literary Wing
Baleshwar, March 8 (Krushna Kumar Mohanty): With the objective of fostering a love for Odia literature among college students, a literary discourse titled 'Anurag' was organized by the Prajapati Literary Wing at the Sri Shiksha hall located at Bag Brundaban.
The programme was inaugurated by noted Odia poet and short story writer Gangadhar Biswal. Students, literature lovers, and readers attended the event and actively participated in the discourse.
In his inaugural address, Biswal said that every creator carries within themselves infinite possibilities of creation. According to him, a writer must explore this inner potential while writing and allow the creative impulse to unfold naturally.
Among the student participants were postgraduate student Sagar Mallik and students Babita Swain and Lopamudra Das from Fakir Mohan Autonomous College. Sharing their thoughts, they discussed various aspects of literature and observed that poetry often touches readers most easily through its simplicity and emotional clarity.
Presiding over the programme, poet Prashanta Das, founder of 'Prajapati', said that the organization regularly arranges such activities to cultivate respect and affection for language and literature among students, and the programme 'Anurag' is one such initiative.
Poets Gayatri Acharya and Shubhashree Dash also shared their views and recited their self-composed poems during the session.
At the beginning, Biplab Das Mahapatra, convener of Prajapati, delivered the welcome address and introduced the theme of “Anurag.”
The programme coordinator, poet Madhusudan Mishra, spoke on poetry and poets and also recited one of his poems.
Saraswati Bhoi, a member of Prajapati, felicitated the guests and speakers, while Pratima Tripathy delivered the vote of thanks.
