KORAPUT DISTRICT RECEIVES HIGHEST RAINFALL IN ODISHA
Bhubaneswar (05/12/2023): Koraput district received the highest rainfall in Odisha in the last 24 hours. Narayanpatna block in the district recorded 23 mm of rainfall. The state average rainfall recorded in last 24 hours is 0.9 mm. The state average rainfall recorded from December 1 to 5 is 1.0 against December monthly average of 4.5 mm. The landfall process of cyclone Michaung has begun.
It will continue for about three hours. It will hit near Baptala on Andhra Pradesh coast. Extremely heavy rainfall will continue for next 24 hours in Andhra Pradesh, informed India Meteorological Department DG Mrutyunjay Mohapatra on Tuesday.
