MAN KILLS PARENTS IN KEONJHAR
Keonjhar (24/03/2024): A man allegedly killed his father and mother over some family dispute at Basira village under Champua police limits in Keonjhar district on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as Gora Munda, and his wife Pali Munda. The deceased couple entered into a heated argument with their son Dhyana Munda over some family dispute.
Things took an ugly turn after the accused Dhyana Munda attacked his father with a sharp-edged weapon, leading to his death on the spot. When Pali attempted to save her husband, the accused attacked her too.
She was rushed to the local sub-divisional hospital for treatment in critical condition.
However, she succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment. Champua police officials reached the spot and detained the accused.
