Baleswar, 17/5 (Krushna Kumar Mohanty): Writers nurtured in pain, poverty, and struggle are often the ones who give birth to literature of lasting value—this sentiment was expressed at the 'Meeting Our Beloved Authors' event, a part of the ongoing literary movement ‘Ghare Ghare Bahighara’ and ‘Year-Round Book Fair’ organized under the initiative of ‘Bahighar–Vidyabharati’.

The event featured eminent literary personalities including Dr. Dash Benhur, Editor of the renowned children's magazine 'Shishulekha', Dr. Gourahari Das, acclaimed storyteller and Convenor of the Odia Advisory Board of Sahitya Akademi, and celebrated essayist Professor Abhiram Biswal.

Held on the afternoon of the 16th under the presiding of poet Abhaya Das, Director of Vidyabharati, the concluding session saw guest authors like Pratap Kumar Nayak, Bhagaban Das, Bijay Das Adhikari, Arupananda Panigrahi, Pratima Panda, Dr. Benumadhab Satapathy, Dr. Santosh Nayak, and Bidyadhar Sahu responding to a variety of literature-related questions from readers and attendees.

The program began with a welcome address by poet Purnachandra Panda, while coordination and support were provided by Bahighar Director Manjulata Bal, Debashis Panda, Bidyadhar Nayak, and poet Jayanta Hansaraj.
