Padampur (16/05/2024): BJP National President JP Nadda on Thursday addressed a public meeting at Padampur in Bargarh district and hit out at the Odisha government over non-implementation of Ayushman Bharat Yojana. Nadda said, "The BJD Government did not like Rs 5 lakh health cover provided by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Nearly 68 lakh families are deprived of accessing health coverage due to non-implementation of Ayushman Bharat Yojana.
Now, people of Odisha are looking for a Chief Minister who is young, who is from Odisha, speaks Odia and who can understand their issues.
So, I appeal to the people to bless the BJP and bring an Odia CM." He highlighted that under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, about 11.78 crore farmers are getting Rs 6,000 annually while in Odisha, money reaches the accounts of 32 lakh farmers under Kisan Samman Nidhi. Earlier in the day, Nadda held a road show from near Mausima Temple and reached near Lingaraj Temple in Bhubaneswar .
