Odia film ‘Puyodakam’ screened at Jagran Film Festival in Mumbai
Bhubaneswar(By Abhishek Mohanty): Odia film ‘Puyodakam’ has been screened at the Jagran Film Festival held in Mumbai.
Film director Sibaprasad Mohanty, producers Gungun and Reena Jena, executive producer Nirmalya Kumar, renowned sound designer Subas Sahu, veteran actress and director Vijayaa Jena (Dolly) were present.
The international festival, held from November 13 to 16, showcased ‘Puyodakam’, which was praised by both viewers and critics for its powerful storyline, unique presentation, impactful performances, and high-quality production design.
Presented by Gungun Films, ‘Puyodakam’ is directed by noted filmmaker Sibaprasad Mohanty, who has not only directed the film but also handled important departments such as screenplay, dialogue writing, and editing.
The cast includes Gungun, Shritam Das, Gargi Mohanty, Abhishek Giri, Shubhranshu Nayak, Bibu Das, Purnendu Dutta, and others. Prem Jayan is the cinematographer, while Subas Sahu and Arun Jyoti have composed the music. Nationally acclaimed sound designer Subas Sahu has handled the sound design, and Haraprasad Mahapatra is responsible for publicity and promotions.
The deep emotional appeal of ‘Puyodakam’ is expected to leave a strong impact on its audience. After being screened at various national and international film festivals, the film will be released on the big screen, informed producer Gungun.
