ODISHA CABINET APPROVES 15 PROPOSALS
Bhubaneswar (21/06/2023): The Odisha Cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday approved 15 important proposals. The Cabinet has given its approval to Mukhya Mantri Sadak Yojana for remote and Maoist-affected areas of the state.
Under the Yojana, 361 kilometre road will be constructed with an investment of 976 crore. Besides, the Cabinet recommended the proposal for inclusion of Saora language in the 8th schedule of the Constitution.
The decision to recommend the inclusion of Saora language in the 8th schedule of the Constitution will have no financial implication. The State Cabinet also approved Rs 3354 crore Mukhyamantri Sampurna Pusthi Yojana (MSPY) which aimed at transforming nutrition outcomes of the adolescent girls (15-19) years), pregnant women and lactating mothers, SAM, MAM and severely underweight children of under six years of age over a period of five years commencing from financial year 2023-24. As per decision, Tata will be given 43 acre land for setting up of a hospital at Sitalapalli in Ganjam district.
This apart, six acres of land will be provided for the development of Majhighariani temple in Rayagada district.
