ODISHA CABINET RECOMMENDS GOVERNOR FOR DISSOLUTION OF STATE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY

Bhubaneswar (03/06/2024): Odisha Cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday recommended Governor for dissolution of State Legislative Assembly. During the meeting, it was decided to inform the Governor about the completion of the tenure of the BJD Government and recommended for dissolution of the State Legislative Assembly ahead of vote counting. After announcement of results by the Election Commissioner, the winning party will approach the Governor to form the government in the state. The elections were held for 147 Assembly seats in four phases starting from May 13 till June 1.
