ODISHA CELEBRATES UTKAL DIVAS
Bhubaneswar (01/04/2024): Utkal Divas or Odisha Day is significant day for the people of Odisha, as it marks the formation of the state on April 1, 1936. To mark the 89th Foundation Day of Odisha, a photo exhibition on the formation of Swatantra Utkal Pradesh has been organised by the Information and Public Relations department, Odisha at Jaydev Bhawan Exhibition Hall in Bhubaneswar. Statues of eminent persons were garlanded. Renowned sand artist Padmashree Sudarshan Pattnayak extended his greetings for Utkal Divas with a beautiful sand art at Puri beach. The capital city Bhubaneswar wore a glittering look as the major government buildings including State Assembly, Lok Seva Bhawan, Krushi Bhawan, Commissionerate Police headquarters dazzled with colourful lights.
