Odisha CM announces grant of Rs 50 lakh for promotion of Sambalpur's Sital Sasthi
Sambalpur (Abhishek Mohanty): Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has announced a grant of Rs 50 lakh for the promotion and propagation of Sambalpur's Sital Sasthi festival.
The festival celebrates the marriage of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati.
The festival is a unique representation of the culture and tradition of the state.
The grant aims to make the festival more vibrant and grand, said the CM.
