ODISHA GOVERNMENT INCREASES MONTHLY SALARY OF MATRONS WORKING IN TRIBAL GIRLS' HOSTELS

Bhubaneswar (18/02/2024): The Odisha government on Sunday increased monthly salary of matrons working in tribal girls' hostels. The salary has been increased from Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000. The matrons will receive Rs 1 lakh at the time of retirement. In case of death, matrons' next kin will get Rs 2 lakh. The state government will spend more than Rs 15 crore annually for this purpose.
